Pop-up Installations for Mid-Autumn Festival

Belcher Bay Promenade, Kennedy Town
(2 September 2022 to Early October 2022)

Belcher Bay Promenade (BBP) has transformed into five unique lantern spheres with different styles of lanterns, including the traditional starfruit-shaped lanterns, stylish lanterns with printed silk fabric and handmade environmental friendly lanterns. These lanterns are in different forms of circle, rectangle, palace shaped and other different shapes. With the stunning view of Victoria Harbour as background, BBP will definitely be one of the best photo shooting spots with families and friends.

You will notice that there are some environmental friendly lanterns which were handmade by children and their families who took part in the workshops organized by The Jockey Club Lei Yue Mun Plus. Workshop instructor had led the children to make their unique lanterns by using environmental-friendly materials to promote green living while children also learned about traditional Chinese festival and culture.。

HarbourChill and Water Sports and Recreation Precinct, Wan Chai
(2 September 2022 to Early October 2022)

HarbourChill in Wan Chai has transformed to the headquarter of the Chill Bunny Rangers. From there they will ride a 4.5-meter-high, colorful rocket to the moon. Visitors are welcome on board the rocket to take photos with the Chill Bunny Rangers and Chill Bunnies. Chill Bunny Rangers striking funny poses are waiting for you to take photos with them. There is a classic hopscotch in the venue, where Chill Bunnies will cheer for you when you jump left and right to the moon. The covered walkway toward Wan Chai Ferry Pier has been turned into a space passage with different planets on the ceiling, which will lead you to the Chill Bunny headquarter

At the Water Sports and Recreation Precinct, check out the Chill Bunny Rangers while you are sitting under the shelters. You will see a giant theme-based light board hanging one of the shelters too

Water Sports & Recreation Precinct
Location:The Water Sports & Recreation Precinct stretches from Hung Hing Road in Wan Chai North to the flyover

East Coast Park Precinct, Fortress Hill
(2 September 2022 to Early October 2022)

Located in Fortress Hill, the East Coast Park Precinct is decorated with the theme of Thousands of Lantern Lights. At the entrance of the park, you will be greeted by adorable water bottle-shaped bunny lanterns. The 12 shelters are covered with 800 lanterns of different sizes. A lantern tunnel has been set up with bamboo scaffolding. In addition, with support from Heep Hong Society, there are eco-friendly lanterns made with recycled plastic bottles by children and their parents. There are also colourful lanterns erected along the railing, plus four lantern walls, with the beautiful Victoria Harbour forming the background at night

Tsuen Wan Promenade
(2 September 2022 to Early October 2022)

Din Dong and his buddies will meet you in the Tsuen Wan West Waterfront Promenade! You will find lanterns with the lovely Din Dong, Jentlecat and Sockie Rabbit along the Din Dong Happy Village, celebrating the delightful Moon Festival with you!

Location:Tsuen Wan Promenade is situated near Hoi On Road

Revitalised Typhoon Shelter Precinct, Causeway Bay
(2 September 2022 to Early October 2022)

At the newly opened Revitalised Typhoon Shelter Precinct in Victoria Road of Causeway Bay, four little bunnies arrive in time for the Mid-Autumn Festival, to enjoy with the public the mesmerizing full moon and lantern decoration along the close-to200-metre long typhoon shelter. You may ride on the rickshaws to enjoy the festive ambience and autumn breeze
